Rafael Segrera is a C-Level executive with a global vision and the ability to identify local issues and address them innovatively.A citizen of the world, Segrera has accumulated life and work experiences in different locations, such as Venezuela (his birthplace), Canada, France, China, and more recently, Brazil (his current residence), creating a multicultural mindset.Segrera has been part of Schneider Electric's history for almost 30 years. Throughout this period, he has held various leadership positions in the company's corporate and operational areas. In October 2018, he was appointed President of Schneider Electric for South America, a position he currently holds.Business-oriented and, more than that, results-oriented, Segrera works to contribute to a more sustainable world without contradictions between these two ideals. To expand this model among companies from different sectors, Schneider Electric has been accelerating its sustainability consulting services, targeting both the companies' own operations and the decarbonization of their supply chains.Rafael Segrera holds a degree in Business Administration from Colegio Universitario Fermín Toro and has a specialization in Management from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (IESA), both institutions in Venezuela. He also studied at HEC Montreal and is a proponent of lifelong learning.
