Hi there,I'm Rafael Torres, a software engineer with 6 solid years of experience in solving problems using web technologies. I am a full-stack developer, and my main tools are Node.js and Golang for the backend, and React.js, Vue.js, and Next.js for the frontend. The main technologies used are TypeScript with Express.js.- Generating and contributing to documentation about technology projects and business rules for the company's general public in Jira Confluence.- Maintaining the frontend using ReactJS and the Material UI library.- Developing a file service implementing the Merkle tree algorithm for file encryption in our buckets. This microservice was written using TypeScript and the NestJS framework.- Designing a database architecture for a better understanding of data and improved performance in searches. This involves applying techniques of normalization, correct indexing, and ensuring foreign and primary keys are appropriately sized for each variable.Other significant challenges in my career include:Idbill: A web software designed to manage costs and charges for customers of Idwall, the company I was part of for 2 years. I was responsible for initiating the frontend architecture and partially the backend architecture. The frontend was developed using Next.js, and the backend using PrismaJS.Datashare: A web software utilized for cropping images and creating datasets for training artificial intelligence models, at the core of Cromai company. The major challenges involved transforming the backend, which initially used gRPC with Golang, into several microservices using Google Cloud Functions. This initiative effectively reduced the costs of maintaining the backend in production. On the frontend side, the challenges were particularly focused on crop and label images, gamification tasks aimed at making the cropping process engaging for all employees at the time.
