Through IoT technology, CUBi shows where, when and how companies consume electrical energy in a simple, intuitive and real-time way. In addition, in possession of the data, we use algorithms to indicate the best energy-saving opportunities for the specific case/industry of our customers. As a result, the startup leverage fast, cost-effective and high-impact improvements.

Design and assembly of a prototype system for particle size separation of shredded lithium-ion batteries or shredded circuit boards using vibrating screens in order to obtain a finer fraction rich in Cobalt (for the batteries) or Gold (for the circuit boards). This final fraction was then chemically treated with the purpose of extracting and recycling the cobalt and gold.

The Golisano Institute for Sustainability is housed in a LEED-Platinum certified building on the campus of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). The extensive network of building sensors enables real-time monitoring and analysis of the various energy systems, including a photovoltaic array, fuel cell, and energy recovery unit that exchanges heat and humidity between the exhaust air and incoming ventilation air.The project dealt with – Data collection, documentation, and analysis of the various systems related to materials, assemblages, energy demand and consumption, energy supply and water usage, climate patterns, user patterns and profiles, waste, and post occupancy evaluation.

Trainee/Sustainability Advisor for CCaSS (Climate Change and Sustainable Services). - Focused in benchmarking for climate change actions inside companies of the financial sector (banks and insurance companies). - Assessed and designed all the strategy for one of the biggest banks in Brazil together with a team.

Developed with a partner a methodology on how to work and manage all the chemicals packages that the company utilizes. All the methodology was developed through Lean tools that exist inside Six Sigma. - The total savings of the project were estimated in more than U$ 500 thousand dollars.
