Thoroughly tested, improve, and developed Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies in a variety of languages. Was mostly involved in:— Extensive testing of a Polish TTS;— Validation of transcriptions, phoneme-to-grapheme and grapheme-to-phoneme datasets;— Compilation and pruning a training dataset;— Writing and improving code for normalization.

Wrote a Master’s thesis on multilingual Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) for Scandinavian languages with focus on practical applications. As part of the thesis, I developed a state-of-the-art multilingual ASR model for the Scandinavian languages and tackled the following research questions:— Are monolingual ASR models for the Scandinavian languages transferrable in a zero-shot setting?— Does mutual intelligibility of the Scandinavian languages in ASR models mirror native speakers?— Are ASR models for the Scandinavian languages biased towards the standard speech or dialect?The thesis was later published in the Proeedings of the 24th Nordic Conference on Computational Linguistics (NoDaLiDa). Provided quality control of job ads for the Swedish (and other) markets as well as technical support for the Talent Acquisition team. Daily tasks involved:— Proofreading the job ads, correcting the errors, and ensuring the presence of essential information;— Publishing and maintaining the ads on platforms such as LinkedIn;— Handling and helping team members with recruitment through the internal system;— Assisting hiring managers in screening and assessing the candidatesWas additionally involved in projects focused on promoting diversity by de-biasing job ads; that is, making them equally appealing to male and female candidates.
