• Acted as lead analyst on projects totalling US$500+ million across several industries (oil & gas, agriculture, mining) and geographies (North America, Africa, Middle East and Asia) and worked on and led teams carrying out financial and technical due diligence and site visits• Participated in strategic planning and forecasting to map out long-term investment strategies• Drafted investment recommendations and developed business plans, delivered presentations and reports to executive team • Took part in negotiations, working groups, discussions, meetings and delivered presentations to middle and upper management, C-suite executives and boards of organizations such as the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the Inter-American Development Bank as well as various investment banks, PE firms and government agencies• Took part in drafting and review of MOU/MOAs, joint venture agreements, production sharing agreements, investment agreements and consortium agreements• Organized and led three two-week investment roads shows, to the United States and the Middle East, to identify new investment opportunities and to build for consortiums in oil, agriculture and energy projects• Led project for agricultural investment in Africa. Including: identifying most suitable investment region and country; identifying the best investment targets; two visits to Zambia; establishing working relationship with target’s executive team; leading on-site inspections and performing detailed financial, legal and technical due diligence; meetings with national and local government agencies and offices; leading working group negotiations; putting together a consortium of co-investors; assisting with executive team negotiations; and drafting detailed reports and final investment recommendation
