As a member of the Sport Clubs Executive Council, I worked with other student leaders to develop the standards and practices upheld by over 40 competitive sport-focused student organizations. The council functioned to advise and create suggestions for the Program Director on a number of topics ranging from problems facing individual clubs to dividing up yearly budgets for all of the member organizations.

Worked as part of the FSU Campus Recreation Marketing Team. My weekly work involved helping to create social media content and to plan and manage promotional events. I also worked with the rest of the team to develop marketing campaigns for projects and initiatives the University was undertaking.

Responsible for getting hundreds of college students involved in the sport of sailing by making them fanatics of FSU Sailing and College Sailing. Not responsible for those students choosing to sail and take part in my events over going to class and studying.During my time at Florida State University, I was fortunate enough to serve as President of FSU Sailing. This was a role for which I was unanimously elected to twice for my enthusiasm and effort to execute on my vision to rebuild the organization. I began the role shortly after the organization had been reestablished. In just a few short years I was able to help lead the organization to create a comprehensive Learn To Sail program that has brought hundreds of students into the organization, start the FSU Sailing Team which now competes at a national level, and become consistently one of the top organizations in the FSU Sports Club Program.Perhaps the most meaningful part for me was the opportunity to change so many students lives by sharing something that I am passionate about. My work with the program continues as I do my part to advise and consult the current management team.Specifically, some of my daily work included: Directing club meetings; managing club officers; developing intercollegiate racing team; event planning and management; working together with different university offices; improving club branding, marketing, and social media; creating relations with other collegiate sailing programs and local yacht clubs.

Led initiative to expand into the markets of Mexico and Peru. Developed strategy around the logistics of international trade. Worked to teach distributors how to sell our different product lines by guiding them on daily sales trips over 3 weeks. (Managed to close every single lead!) Sales trips also functioned to help understand how cultural details would affect our sales strategy.
