Responsibilities.• Converted 10 No’s of W18V 32 (18 cycle) Wartsila Diesel generation sets to DF mode with WECS (gas mode) control feature. This system provides power to produce 13000 tons of cement per day capacity.• Commissioned 3 No’s new 10MW W20V34DF Wartsila engine• Plant control and monitoring of total 42 MW including 7ABB generating units of 6.2MW each and Black Start 169kW emergency diesel generator (DORMAN).• Synchronizing of existing system with Old Power House Wartsila Generator.• Plant control and monitoring of PLC-based and Micro processing protection relays. • 32MW WARTSILA DIESEL W12V50DF in parallel with existing Power Plant (42MW). 3X12V46 Engine added to the same Power Generation System working on HFO bases.• 10MW steam turbo generator doubling plant capacity from 82 MW to 102MW.• Work on PLC S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200 & S7-1500 with modules (A/I, A/O and D/I, D/O).• Produce technical reports and develop scope of work for PM / maintenance related works and turnaround jobs• Maintain utility capacity of compressor, transformer, DG sets and such like. • Carry testing and calibration of temperature and pressure control and monitoring devices such as RTDs, Thermocouples, PTs, flow sensors, relays, earth fault relays etc. • Carry routine Operation & Maintenance of ACB and VCB breakers.• Carry start up and shutdown including emergency and test modes of SF6 & VCB (22KV & 6.3KV), ACB, Transformer 2.5MVA, Bus Coupler, Cooling Tower & Over Head Crane.• Read and interpret Electrical Power and Control Circuit Design for HV & LV Panels, Switchgears and Protection Relays.• Facilitate periodical servicing/over hauling of Gen.Set, motors, compressors (Instrument Air Compressors & Charge Air Compressors), transformers etc.• Maintain record of power consumption, Log book, preventive maintenance etc.

Responsibilities.• Synchronizing of existing system with Old Power House Wartsila Generator. • Troubleshoot in HT (6.3KV) & LT (400V) panels including CTs,PTs,Energymeters• Controlling of Feed water pump motors and Condensate pump motors with VFds.• Work on calibration of Bearing vibration sensors, Proximity sensor for axial displacement of turbine, Steam Header pressure and temperature transmitters & Oil tank Inlet & outlet temperature transmitters.• Troubleshoot in Exhaust Gas Boiler equipments including EGD, FWT, Steam Drum & Soot Blowers.• Work on Feed water tank Level, Pressure and Temperature transmitters.Work in the Errection of 6MW&10MW WHR Plant at Lucky cement.Responsibilities • Working in the Errection and Commissioning of 6MW&10MW, 6.3 Kv, Self Excited Gen.Set at Lucky Cement Ltd with Orient Company Karachi.• Work on Single Line diagram, Equipment Layouts, Wiring & Cable schedule.• Connection of CTs, PTs, NGR & Excitation of Gen Set.• Work in the Excitation of Generator through AVR.• Work on Differential Protection of Gen Set.Seimens Relay testing with the help of Injection Tester.(SIPROTIC 7UM62, 7SD61, 7SJ62, 7UM62, 7VE61 relays.• Work on Exhaust Gas Boiler equipment’s including EGD, FWT, Steam Drum & Soot Blowers with Wartsila Team.• Thee No of Alfa Laval Boilers, 4.5 t/h. Cable laying, Cable termination, loop testing and commissioning.
