I started as a Personal Banker with Wells Fargo in Alaska's Statewide Management Training Program in which I travelled the state and worked in different locals, gaining a broad perspective on business, training opportunities and management skills. In my current role as a Manager, my primary goal is to serve the customers total financial service needs resulting in greater market share and profitability. This is accomplished by creating a vital sales and service organization, promoting teamwork with partners and other corporate departments. I create, train, and coach a successful sales team through the development of people (my team). I'm responsible for effective staff salary administration and rewards. I currently develop and administer budgets, business development goals and objectives, staffing models, schedules and performance standards. As a Banker I was mainly devoted to enriching sales, service, and management skills through building long term relationships with my customers. Taking the time to fully understand my customers financial needs in order to provide sound suggestions.

While in the Army I amassed vast experiences in leadership, management, and the decision making process. I fulfilled leadership positions in two branches of the Army - Public Affairs and the combat arms branch, Armor. My experiences range from working in small groups of 3-12 to large units of 150-250 personnel. I've taught classes in both English and Spanish to groups on media engagements to how to build a rope bridge. I fulfilled unique assignments in the Army. An example of which was as a Public Affairs Specialist at the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC). While at WHINSEC I primarily spoke in Spanish and worked with eligible military, law enforcement, and civilian personnel of nations of the Western Hemisphere. At the time I worked with Chileans, Colombians, Ecuadorians, Costa Ricans, Canadians, Brazilians, Dominicans, Americans and much more. As an officer I gained many experiences leading Soldiers, planning and coordinating, and managing resources. My last assignment was at Fort Richardson, which today is known as Joint Air Force Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER).
