I’m Rafat Fields, founder of Powered to Rise, a consultancy dedicated to helping Black women and other women of color advance their careers and step into leadership roles in healthcare. My mission is deeply personal: I want to see more women who look like me in decision-making positions, driving meaningful change in an industry that touches all of our lives.My journey began at Florida A&M University (FAMU), where I earned my MBA before launching my career at Pfizer in sales. Over the years, I transitioned into marketing, patient advocacy, and health equity roles. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of the systemic challenges within healthcare and the pressing need for diverse voices at the table. In March of 2024, I took a leap of faith and left my corporate career to fully dedicate myself to building Powered to Rise.I’ve always believed that when women of color rise, the world benefits. That’s why Powered to Rise offers services designed to help women position themselves for the opportunities they deserve. My signature Rise Up Package includes a 90-minute intensive consultation, website creation, personalized social media strategies, an interview-ready portfolio, and a brand analysis report.
