I work daily on provisioning infrastructure with Terraform on AWS and occasionally on Google Cloud Platform. Initially, we managed Kubernetes clusters using Kops and later developed an internal solution based on Kubernetes controllers for declarative cluster provisioning and management.I am passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to optimize infrastructure, enhance system reliability, and drive business growth. I worked in the Videos' Platform where I was responsible for provisioning infrastructure using Puppet and interacting with applications written in Python, Ruby, and Bash scripts. I optimized video delivery using Nginx and Lua, and I was part of a multidisciplinary team that spearheaded the adoption of Kubernetes for the video platform. We focused on platform monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana and developed and maintained auxiliary APIs in Golang, Python, Ruby, and Lua. I also led the migration of live video delivery to Kubernetes clusters and initiated testing of services on Microsoft Azure.

Focused on the implementation and operation of infrastructure using DevOps practices and agile methodologies such as Scrum, TDD, and Kanban.The ecosystem was multidisciplinary to develop and maintain a Java application with JSF, Seam, and JBoss for thousands of students and faculty. We used Puppet for configuration management of the development, homologation, and production environments. Some of the services were kept in containers with Docker and orchestrated with Rancher. Monitoring was done primarily with Zabbix. Continuous integration with Jenkins and source code management using Gitlab. Load balancing through Apache and HAProxy. We also maintained an LDAP for authentication and profile assignment of team members.

I was the leader of the Workstation Team, who was responsible for planning, provisioning, and maintaining dozens of servers that were available to students. The competencies covered from the choosing and installation of Operating Systems (Linux and Windows), the configuration of drivers, and installation of programs. Those were then converted into images and used for mass deployment through the network.
