Research Engineer in Fluxlab, at StFX University. Responsibilities include: •Stakeholder engagement and communications management with external project participants, funding organizations, and industry contacts•Maintaining data quality and control and the integrity of field data•Ongoing reporting of project progress and data, as well as maintenance of project legacy documentation •Travelling and executing field surveys to collect data for our landfill studies•Troubleshooting problems as they arise by creating efficient and effective solutions.•Facilitating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

• Coordinate setup of onsite testing facility for PCR testing for COVID-19, working with Rockdoc production team.• Develop local policy and procedure for operation of onsite testing facility. • Operate PCR testing including sample preparation, running of samples on thermocycler, assuring results are interpreted and reported accurately. • Adhere to manufacturer’s standard operating procedures for operating thermocycler and all related supplies and equipment. • Adhere to best practices for lab operations and safety. • Provide recommendations on improvements or optimization of laboratory operations.
