As an engineering graduate from BUET, I have always been passionate about introducing innovative technologies and services to Bangladesh. My entrepreneurial journey began with BRAC BDMail, an ISP startup funded by BRAC, the world's largest NGO. This venture was later acquired by KDDI of Japan, gNet, and DEFTA Partners of the USA. My second startup, BDNet, was successfully sold to Multinet of Russia in 2006.I also spearheaded the establishment of Bangladesh's first privately-owned satellite earth station, a joint venture with the Government of Bangladesh. My ventures extend into the mobile value-added services sector, where we serve all telecom operators in Bangladesh and 32 telecom companies worldwide, including global brands like Napster and iTunes. I also started the first telemedicine center in Bangladesh back in 2000.Currently, my focus spans multiple technology domains, including fintech, edtech, logistic-tech, insurtech, and traveltech, where we strive to create innovative solutions that address local and global challenges.Beyond entrepreneurship, I have a strong track record of leadership and service. While a student, I served as the President of the Rotaract Club of Dhaka, leading fundraising efforts to establish Bangladesh's first cancer hospital in Mohakhali, Dhaka. I was also the General Secretary of the Engineering University Central Students Union (EUCSU) and a core member of the movement that led the mass uprising in 1990, restoring democracy in Bangladesh.My journey reflects a commitment to innovation, impact, and leadership, driven by a vision to contribute meaningfully to society and industry.
