Currently I am working on my Ph.D. project supported by Department of Science and High Technology (DISAT) of University of Insubria and kindly funded project by Edison E&P. The main topic is the structural and depositional models/validation methodology for reservoir modelling.I worked for some years in a G&G consulting company acquiring different competences and skills in E&P industry and to deepen scientific and operational aspects of petroleum geology. This experience allowed me to join several project with different partners on the field in different area of the globe, like: North Africa (Mauritania), east Europe (Albania) and Middle East (Kurdistan) doing geological mapping and structural analysis finalized to the characterization of the reservoir in the exploration of partially-explored and mature sedimentary basins and fold and thrust beltAfter this job experience I decide to complete my education taking in the challenge to develop a Ph.D. project in Structural Geology. This decision has allowed to me to have the opportunity to:- work with Edison E&P division on an interesting research project.- join the Structural Team of Total S.A. at CSTJF in Pau - France for an internship period with a project focused on 3D structural restoring for providing to Salt Tectonic studies, the relative impact of salt within compressional and extensional systems and its implication for oil exploration.
