CurrentCOGEI Srl is a company which is founded in 1992 to operate in the environmental protection sector. Its mission consists of the design, planning, actual construction and the management of purification plants for both civil and industrial use and the purification of sewerage and waste water.By deploying a state-of-the-art plant in combination with a team of excellent professionals, the company studies and solves the challenges of environmental protection following a modern methodological approach, which is mainly linked to the phases of; preliminary analysis of the problems, feasibility study, design, construction and ultimately the management of the installations.COGEI also stands for research and development, such as the studies which have been carried out in partnership with Universities and other Research Bodies. Those studies are aimed at the development of unconventional purification technologies, supported by advanced predictive control systems, in order to reduce the environmental impact, optimize the process treatment and maximize energy efficiency.Among the ongoing activities and in terms of sustainability, we pay additional attention to the recovery of raw materials from Waste from Electronical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). There is currently a collaboration in place with the University of Naples, “Federico II’. Moreover, the company is also occupied with the advanced control of industrial production lines and the supply of technological services for energy efficiency and resource management.
