I would define myself as being a source of useful information for an insurance undertaking, I can provide support to business, and facilitate the development of commercial relations. I'm also an experienced broker with several years experience and a proven track record in new business generation ; having a solid background in Italian business manly in the public sector area and in the PI.I've always acted as a managing director, heading offices as a Country Manager meeting regulatory requirements and also proactively supporting the business development objectives of the correspondents brokers in Italy.I've been in charge of implementing the Italian distribution network, managing to leverage the company's position, I've always worked autonomously identifying potential partners for strategic alliances both on the italian and UK side, mantaining the highest possible level of positive perception of the company's brand.I have been active in insurance since 1982 operating in the Italian market whith an extensive experience on insurance mediation.I have held Binding Authorities with Lloyd’s developing facilities with the support of important Syndacates.I have a proven track record in many challenging areas of insurance, includingProfessional Liability, Med Mal, Pubblic Officials Liability.I worked for GEAS Assicurazioni S.p.a, then became managing general agent for LLOYD ADRIATICO.I worked as a consultant in Risk Management related activities for GR Risk Management.In 1999 with Sicula Brokers srl – TAVERNA GENOVA GROUP, I founded Studio Gestione Rischi Insurance Brokers, a modern concept of an insurance broker dedicated to Public Bodies.I have been interfacing with the public administration - working with large accounts. In the meantime I took on an active role in company operations while continuing to work with clients on their insurance programs; furthermore I served as the representative negotiating pricing and coverage on behalf of many larger clients.
