Built strategic partnerships with leading digital and brick and mortar retailers in core European markets. Streamlined operations, simplifying legal entities and overall costs approximately 35% and IT costs by 45%. Positioned company for sustainable profitability before its sale in 2014.

Established a global banking platform to support and expand consumer businesses, within the bank’s core markets, including credit cards, mortgages and personal lending across core markets in Western and Eastern countries and progressed to lead a €100B, 1,600 employee Household Financing Division. Contributing member of parent company Executive Committee.Created global consumer financing platform, organization and competencies, transforming existing Italian operations and improving performance in Italian market (increased volume, revenue and pre-tax profit 4x while reducing cost and risk) in the first year of operation. Established several new country bank start-ups in EU in the following three years of operation. Started new banks in Germany, Bulgaria and Romania and consumer finance entity within UniCredit retail bank in Poland and Russia. Exceeded break even on all new operations within four year; increased assets of consumer business in four core markets to multibillion dollar growth.
