Raffaele led several R&D projects and the development of math and artificial intelligence-based software products to optimize decision-making in transportation and logistics, revenue management, production, and health.The first company he founded was ACT Operations Research in the late 90'. He led the company till 2020, opening offices in Italy, Spain, the U.K., and the U.S.A. Under Raffaele's guidance, the ACT OR's Team has been awarded as one of the finalists by the Franz Edelman Award 2018, the most prestigious international prize for Operations Research & Decision Science Practitioners by INFORMS. The award has been reached with a Capacity and Revenue Optimization solution with the partner Europcar, an international player in the car rental and mobility business. During 2020, Raffaele led an M&A operation for the industrial branch of ACT Operation Research with Spindox, an innovative Software Company.
