I joined the construction firm MAQBOOL-CALSONS JV . Working on the design of engineering drawing on CAD software. Lab testing like FDT, Asphalt test, CBR and steel test. etcInteraction with seniors in the field for lab testing and site work is beneficial to polish my skills for future.

My working with NESPAK as Engineer is a great experience.FOUNDATION DESIGN AND ANALYSIS:Base road for the underpass. The foundation of barrel of underpass must be able to support the weight of the structure and traffic that will be placed on it. The soil beneath the foundation must be able to bear the load without shifting or settling.EXCAVATIONS AND DRAINAGE:The skill of excavation to safely and efficiently excavate a site for tunnel. Excavation involves the removal of earth, rock, or other materials from a site using tools and machinery. It is important to have this skill in order to avoid damaging the surrounding area and to ensure that the excavation is done properly. Divergence of WASA drainage pipes for waste and natural water supply pipeline, which is occur in the path of a tunnel for underpass.RETAINING WALL AND PILING:A retaining wall is a structure that holds back soil or rock from the sides of a tunnel. It has been done by using a variety of materials, including wood, stone, and concrete. Total number of 862 piles has been done excepting the barrel foundation piles which is done by wet bore drilling due to the problem caused by the bridge slab of ORANGE LINE METRO TRAIN under which the barrel of underpass exactly lies.

First job of my life. This job is based on dealing with imported granites. Furthermore the cutting of granites, polishing and processing of stones. Company products include various types of granite from Sirilanka, Norway, Finland, Souh Africa and India.
