- Worked primarily with the planning team in supply chain on aftermarket shortages.- Continuously pulled raw shortage data from Kanban and organized that data using Smartsheet. Working through two organizations simultaneously, the repair organizations from the Grand Rapids and Clearwater sites, created charts and graphs to represent and condense the data to be easily interpreted and allow for the issues to be identified. Established a team of 10 people from different departments and ran Team’s meetings with the goal of assigning specific shortages each week, based on severity and the variable contract date (VCD), to be reviewed, influencing over $1.5 million in shortages.- Used Oracle to pull planned order (PO) data and correlated provided suppliers with their respective Fulfilment owners. Created pivot tables in Excel to organize data by PO, supplier, need by date (NBD), and commit date, to get misaligned POs, where the NBD and Commit dates did not align, and get the owners to chase these parts for alignment, influencing over $3.5 million in parts.- Worked with Fulfilment owners to get POs without Commit dates reviewed and updated.- Investigated internal sales order (ISO) rejections, which were causing project shortages, and created a detailed workflow for this process to minimize these part rejections. Used TipQA to investigate these parts as well as going to the stockroom and looking for physical paperwork to identify patterns for rejection.
