Listing a few of my responsibilities- Curriculum design, lesson planning, testing strategies, inter-class competitions and hands on activities for effective teaching / learning. - Make sure that whatever planned is actually being taught/ implemented in the classrooms in an interesting manner. - Give regular demonstrations to guide the teachers how to teach according to the different class levels. - Teach to maintain class structure with effective learning environment.- Take regular class observations to correct / train when and where required. Follow up to check whether they are maintaining standard of the written work.- Make sure resources are being used to move forward on academic goals. - Observe teachers informally and guide them if when required.- Provide one to one counselling to students / teachers and parents if required.- Maintain discipline and structure in the classes / floors/ school according to the rules of the school.- Plan and facilitate weekly team meetings focused on discussion and evaluation of student growth and teacher’s use of instructional strategies.- Get feedback from students regarding difficulties in learning / teachers.- Time management. Meet deadlines on time. Plan ahead. - Show self and situational awareness.- Be aware of the rules and policies of school and function accordingly.- Be a role model / team leader. Not expect anything from the teachers which I don’t do it myself!- Delegate the work and acknowledge if well done!- Respond well to criticism and learn from my mistakes. Try not to repeat them.- Know my teachers. Identify their strengths and weakness. - Guide teachers to overcome the shortcomings by constant training, appreciation and practical solutions. - Make innovative future plans.- Be committed with a positive attitude towards day to day problems. - Use simple communication and good interpersonal skills to get work done from teachers and students.and a lot more........
