Dr. Rafic Dulymamode is the technical manager of the Environmental Microbiology Laboratory at Pinchin Ltd. In his position at Pinchin, Rafic develops methods and facilities to support the laboratory, and supervises staff. Under his leadership, the laboratory has successfully passed over twenty major external audits following ISO 17025 guidelines to uphold its accredited status with the AIHA LAP LLC and the Government of Quebec. Rafic has also guided the laboratory to achieve accredited status for Legionella analysis. He has over 20 years of experience in an academic environment in teaching and mycological research and has co-authored several publications describing new micro fungal taxa. Rafic holds a Bachelor of Science, Honours degree in Botany and Zoology from London University and Master of Science in Pure and Applied Plant Taxonomy from Reading University. He completed his Doctorate degree in Mycology at the University of Mauritius for his work on tropical fungal diversity on endemic plants.
