New naval base project (NNBP)Which serves as the Building Design Consultancy (BDC) for the Qatar Emir Naval Forces Base (QENFB), recently completed the first phase of design for more than 200 facilities that will serve the new Naval Base in Doha, Qatar. The project is part of the New Port Project (NPP), which is creating one of the largest green field port developments, spanning 26.5 square kilometers. The $7.4 billion project includes a new port, the new naval base and the Qatar Economic Zone.Following functions and buildings:1. COAST Guard Base and Coast Guard Base MarineThe Base Project is a proposed new Coast Guard Base located north of Doha in the State of Qatar. The facility shall be utilized by the Qatari Coast Guard, will be their first independent facility in Qatar. The Land side site occupies an area of approximately 64 hectares. The main objective of the project is to create a new land and marine base for the “Qatari Coast & Border Department” serving and guarding the marine community, protecting Qatari International Waters and the environment. The landside development shall provide multiple facilities including maintenance and operational workshops serving the marina, offices, a mosque, residential accommodation, sports and recreational facilities and training facilities and shall include state of the art security systems and all infrastructure within the 64-hectare landside plot limits.
