Convinced & implemented Chevron web-based RIMS Interface module on Malange Offshore Angola a challenging Brownfield-Greenfield project with several stakeholders, involving Subsea Tieback (SSTB) of five wells ~39 km of two Pipe-in-Pipe P/L’s & one umbilical to existing compliant tower Tombua Landana (TL) Platform, DA is in Block-14 Angola at ~1,000 ft WD for estimated ~45k bpd of added oil production. Convinced & managed TC&S (Technical Codes & Standards) Standardization as an interface management sub-project ahead of FEED & received Chevron-Malange ‘Appreciation Certificate’ for ‘existing-GS (General Specs) vs. CES (Chevron Engrg Specs) prior to FEED thus saving $-costs & schedule delays. Operator & Partners include CABGOC, Sonangol, ENI, Total, and GALP. Phase-3 FEED was completed with DORIS Engineering for planned First Oil by ~1Q2018, the project got closed out for resumption in future. Project EngineerLagloria Oil And Gas Refinery Aug 1991 - Jul 1993As Project Engineer with McBride Engineers, Inc., reported to Engineering Manager of 55,000 bpd LaGloria Refinery - an affiliate of Crown Central Petroleum Corporation. Interfaced with Howe-Baker engineers to upgrade and revamp storage and blending system with aboveground piping project to replace existing underground pipelines ($13 million EPC project). This project, a regulatory requirement of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC), included installation of approximately 22 miles of aboveground pipelines with 16" as maximum pipe-diameter size, from various units (i.e., CDU, FCC, Coker, HDS, Isom, Rheniformer, Alky, Plat, Sat Gas, and Vacuum units) to approximately 103 storage tanks in run-down, blending, and sales tank farm having 113 pumps (37 for relocation) with new in-line blending system to replace existing batch blending system. Process design was completed with PFDs, P&IDs, piping layouts, cost estimate, etc., for phased construction.
