In his most recent work experience, Khurram has been extensively involved with healthcare and insurance implementations primarily in the U.S. He has experience in Individual, Small/Mid-sized/Large group, Fully/Self funded (Stop Loss) insurance models. He possess knowledge of multiple underwriting/risk assessment models, clinical applications, medical billing and insurance claims processing. He is familiar with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI 834, 820, 835, 837), SAML, XML etc. He has assisted in multiple integrations with 3rd party vendors including payment merchants, enrollment and claims processing systems.Key areas of expertise include: Project & Program Management, Data analysis, Product Development, Change management, building strong relationships with stakeholders, leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, Agile transformation, Strategy development, Software implementation management and insurance verticals including health, life and dental.
