I am an accredited Forensic Accountant, specialising in Licensee Royalty Audits and Supplier Audits.What is Royalty Auditing?We ensure that Licensees have complied with their Licensing Agreements and accurately and completely reported royalties to our IP owning clients. We have enormous experience in Royalty Auditing, undertaking more than 300 audits across the globe each year.What is Supplier Auditing?Our clients have Suppliers with very large spends from Facilities Management to IT to Advertising to Supply Chain and Logistics. We audit their financial compliance against agreements and identify over-charging by the Suppliers.Our client list reads like a who's who of the IP world - major international publicly-quoted companies with vast portfolios of Licensees with TV and film's best loved characters, the world's best-selling authors, chart-topping musicians, trophy winning football clubs, international fashion houses and luxury car brands, as well as an array of Superbrands, inventors and technology companies.Our talented team is comprised of highly skilled and experienced international Forensic Auditors, covering a range of cultures and languages including Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and German.We are also active in traditional Forensic Accounting. We undertake detailed financial analysis usually in litigation cases, including breach of contract, fraud, drug trafficking and money laundering. In connection with this work I have been required to appear as an Expert Witness in Court, providing evidence under intense cross-examination.Over the last few years I have become heavily involved in quantifying Consequential Losses arising from the mis-selling of Swaps and other hedging products sold by banks.HW Fisher Forensic is a division of HW Fisher LLP, a multi-faceted London-based accountancy firm, providing tax, accountancy, corporate and insolvency advice.
