Led the New Product Introduction (NPI) of two new models of hydraulic excavators (HEX) for the facility using APQP methodology.Executed various NPI deliverables including Process Planning, BOM Planning, Capacity Planning, Capital Planning, Tool Planning, Layout Planning, Material Flow Planning, and PMD Planning for the complete assembly process.Developed various APQP outputs including Process Flow Chart (PFC), PFMEA, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis Plan (MSA) and GR&R study, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability Study (CpK/Cp), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Plan for Every Part (PFEP), and work instructions for the assembly process.Implemented Line Balancing using Killbridge and Wester Method for Off-Highway Trucks (OHT) mix-model line, reducing the throughput time by up to 10%.
