Promoting financial literacy by writing on complex personal finance and money management subjects in a simplified language. I put to use the basic concepts of Math to decode complex financial products for the common man.

 Managed a PMS fund strategy with assets of ~50 Crs. The funds objective was to alternatively allocate fund AUM b/w equity mutual funds and liquid funds (cash). The asset allocation and fund selection was done basis multiple quantitative market factors. The fund consistently outperformed Nifty at 1/3rd it's volatility.  Prepared monthly investment strategies for the ultra high net worth clients (UHNIs aggregating to an AUM > 3000 Crs), showcasing model portfolios and house view on all asset class.  Reviewed periodically, portfolios of all major clients( with assets greater than 50 crs). Review metrics - Asset allocation, performance attribution, opportune trading and investment strategies.  Ideated and created an investment policy statement (IPS) to capture the needs, aspirations, current financial condition and risk taking willingness of all clients. The idea was implemented and has helped the team in providing timely and need based advice to clients.  Assisted in setting up the family office service - Proposed and Developed the plan for a revolutionary live reporting platform for UHNI clients to get a live holistic view and analysis based advice on their finances.  Developed advisory skills across investment vehicles– equity, debt, currency, structured products, real estate, insurance, taxation, commodities, private equity, hedge funds

 Brought operations of 3 companies of Edelweiss (retail capital markets business) under one umbrella; cutting the team headcount by 30% Initiated several process re-engineering, streamlining activities to achieve straight through processing (STP) of 90% tasks Set up a SEBI mandated, centralized KYC registration process, with 3 external agencies (NSE, NDML, CDSL). The whole process was automated and set up in 30 days. From a backlog of client KYC registration of 4 months, TAT (Turn Around Time) was brought down to T+1 day.
