I developed a new feature that automatically fetches a snapshot of the metric behind a Cloudwatch alarm in an alarm state, and posts the image to the ticket as a comment to shorten issue identification time by 75%. I refactored team’s codebase with additional functionalities to simplify class structure and inheritance. I designed and executed a new feature from inception to a near production ready product.

I constructed Site Reliability Engineering Toolset by developing Vert.x API’s for the backend server to fetch infrastructure health status, configuring SLO’s to generate alerts when breaches occur, and building Prometheus dashboard to display real-time historical graphs to help make proactive strategic decisions. Created scalable generic automated SRE solution with firm-wide reusability across several teams, improving accuracy while saving 8-9 man hours per day for monitoring and decreasing response time by 50%. I coordinated & collaborated with engineers from different time zones to combine ideas & code in efficient manner.

I created a data table user interface capable of displaying data stored in a PostgreSQL database, with create, read, update, delete, import, search, and other functionalities. For this project I incorporated React.js, Node.js, the Express web framework, and Sequelize. This project optimized the process of searching and manipulating large amounts of data for employees.
