• Experimenting ways to use open-source LLMs to perform multi-modal multi-tasking for speech processing like ASR, AST, TTS, S2ST.• Involved in developing a language model (LM) for Indic languages to be integrated with acoustic model for automatic speech recognition (ASR).• Performed fine-tuning of open source LLM such as Llama, GPT using parameter efficient techniques like QLora for instruction tuning purposes.

Pragyan is the annual techno-managerial festival of NIT-Trichy with ISO 20121:2012 certification for Sustainable Event Management and ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems. As a head of technical event organizer, my responsibilities include translating plans into executable actions, coordinating and assigning tasks to coordinators, finalizing event structure and deadlines to ensure seamless execution of events with 5000+ participants.

My responsibility involved ideation, event management, and successful execution of events.

• Co-authored and published a research paper at the International Conference on Natural Language Processing (ICON-2023) in ACL Anthology titled "Mitigating Abusive Comment Detection in Tamil Text: A Data Augmentation Approach with Transformer Model" under guidance of Dr. S. Jaya Nirmala, Associate Professor, CSE.• Worked on Hate Speech detection systems in low-resource languages like Tamil using Natural Language processing (NLP) and data augmentation techniques like round-trip translation.

Vortex is the National Level Technical Symposium of the CSE Department, NIT Trichy. My responsibilities include performing analysis of various events, guest lectures and workshops by collecting feedback and generating ideas to enhance the quality and impact of our symposium.
