Raghavendra Krishnappa is a Business Analyst with the firm’s Life Sciences industry team and is our resident expert in genomics. His remit is to envision, mature, and promote the group’s interests in genomics, microarray technologies, next-gen sequencing.

As a Project Manager, he was responsible for advancement of a commercial bioinformatics application which imports data from analytical measuring systems (Illumina bead studio), rates SNPs based on deleterious effect, analyzes genotype data and generates both clinical and molecular reports for familial hypercholesterolemia and (12 types of) cancer data sets. Reporting to the VP, He managed a staff of 12 (5 programmers, 2 testers, 4 science testers, and 1 DBA). In this role he also developed the complete application workflow and was successful in the oversight of system and operational documentation to ensure CMMI Level 3 compliance.
