👋🏽 Hi, I’m Raghav, a pre-final year student at DTU with love for business(both startups and 'lala-type businesses'), human centered design, venture capital, and product. ---------------------------------🦄 I preach creative problem *finding* over creative problem solving. My curiosity stems from wanting to understand human behaviour and leads me to ask questions (lots and lots of them). 📈 Experience? Well, I’ve more or less done a little of everything. From tech support(taught my grandparents Whatsapp, email etc.), to a sales rep., to making high-tech drones, to organising warehouses, to running cohorts, to a pending podcast about startups, I’ve gotten a handle on all sorts of work settings and environments. I like to think I’m ready for anything the world can throw at me.🎯 As for my future, I hope to one day start my own startup and am currently looking to work in the consumer/D2C space where I can dive deeper into growth and get a first-hand view of what goes into building a startup. 🏔 In my free time, I like playing tennis(poorly), cycling, and planning for treks I’ll never go to.💪🏽 I am a pragmatic person and believe in learning by doing. FounderWhole Earth Apr 2023 - Nov 2023Whole Earth is a new-age oral care brand making electric toothbrushes affordable( for just Rs150).Built a lovely product, figured out contract manufacturing, know a thing or two about hiring and marketing, and set up distribution channels.- Conducted primary and secondary market research of the oral care industry, scaling the business to INR 1,00,000 MRR.- Spearheaded sales by A/B testing for the optimal selling price, outperforming legacy brands by 4X more unit sales per retailer.

FounderCar Care Company Mar 2022 - May 2022Whenever I tell people that I started a Car Wash startup, they give a little chuckle. That said, the closer you look at something, the more you can come to understand that there’s often more than meets the eye. As part of this startup, we wanted to organise the unorganised and ignored car wash sector.We were challenged to give customers professional car wash every day and do it in less than 7mins per car for the unit economics to make sense. Not only did we successfully develop a standard operating procedure to deliver on this we got also over 15 customers in less than a month by just word of mouth.This was one of my favourite project, even if it means that I now spend far too long looking at clean and dirty cars in my day-to-day life.- Developed SOP and designed the logistics to clean cars in less than 6 mins (we had cars across 5km radius)- 15+ customers paying ₹1000 each in less than one month of launch without any marketing.

FounderReduco Feb 2021 - May 2022In Delhi, 150 tons of fruits and vegetables are wasted every day due to improper appearance. Reduco aims to reduce food waste by allowing underprivileged people to buy this 'improper' produce that is still fresh at fraction of the cost.- Conducted user interviews of more than 100 vegetable vendors; collected daily wastage data of 20+ vendors for a period of 10 days.- Launched an app that allows people to buy improper food that is still fresh at lower costs.- Helped vegetable vendors save ~10kg’s (i.e. food worth ₹ 300) every day.- Successfully raised ₹25000 through hackathons. -
Business Development InternUnited By Players Dec 2020 - Jan 2022- Improved the user experience by identifying bugs and mistakes.- Reduced overhead expenses of an event by 30%.- Carried out extensive user research and interviewed 50+ stakeholders overcall. As a result, the team decided to focus on providing online bookings of courts and grounds. We also decided to conduct tournaments after taking into consideration the findings of the research. -
Software DeveloperUas-Dtu Jan 2021 - Mar 2021- Part of the college UAV team that developed drones for the Indian Air Force and secured podium positions in renowned international competitions.- Built a face detection and recognition software using python, OpenCV, numpy.If there’s one thing I learned from my time here, it’s that you don’t have to be an expert to get started. With a solid melon on your head and a lot of patience, you too can build stuff with no prior knowledge or experience.
