Construction of Commercial and industrial Buildings across India managing a team of 80 staff spread across 15 projects (Managers, Engineers and Technicians).• Developing Project Quality Plans, Work Method Statements and other related forms and formats.• Quality control across all projects through designated team of Managers and Engineers and achieving Construction Quality Assessment (equivalent to CONQAS Singapore).• Addressing client’s quality concerns and obtaining their feedback.

Construction of high-rise apartment, Villas, Commercial Buildings, with High end finishes, consisting of 8000 units in 10 projects across India.• Developing Robust “Purva Quality Standards (PQS)” and Technology Manual.• Digitization of Information/Document Control System.• Improving and standardizing the processes across all phases of the product life cycle (form conception till handover) to achieve international level of Quality and ensuring Total Customer Satisfaction across all projects.

• Ensuring the EPC contractor has in place a Quality Plan sufficient to meet the project quality requirements and that work is being carried out in accordance with that quality plan.• Directing and managing the QA/QC during EPC in a manner that achieves project quality requirements within the cost and schedule targets set by company.• Implementing the established PMC Quality Plan, quality systems, with related/referenced procedures.• Carrying out regular audits of the PMC team in accordance with the PMC quality plan to ensure compliance to contract and quality requirements.• Monitoring the implementation of approved project specific quality plan by the EPC contractor to ensure compliance.• Reviewing all EPC project specific procedures for compliance with quality and schedule requirements.• Carrying out quality audits of the EPC contractor and its subcontractors and vendors for compliance with the requirements of the EPC contract and the approved quality plan.• Reviewing and ensuring all closeout documents are submitted by the EPC contractor, in accordance with the contract.

Manage procedural compliance of CH2MHILL’s team with client quality standards.Updating and maintaining the Project Quality plan.Managing and leading response to client Audits of CH2MHILL’s quality compliance, in liaison with the Resident Engineer.Conducting internal audits on compliance with CH2MHILL’s quality standardsLiaise with client Quality engineers to mitigate quality risks to the project delivery from all sources.Liaising with Construction Contractors’ Quality Manager for updating Contractor’s Quality Plan.Contributing to the establishment of realistic and workable ITPs for the project in compliance with project specifications.Contributing to the planning and implementation of Aconex and other specialist systems (Procon)Contributing to the design of computerized and physical systems for filing maintenance and retrieval of all documentationManaging overall quality control of Construction Contractor’s output in terms of ITPs in liaison with CH2MHILL’s inspectorsInvolving, where required, in Work Inspections, Material Inspections, Mockup Inspections and Factory Visits and resolving conflicts.Contributing to CH2MHILL’s reviews of ITPs, Method Statements and NCRs.Liaising with Construction Contractor to close NCRs issued to the Construction Contractor by CH2MHILL.Carry out audits of Construction Contractor quality procedures on the project.Manage overall quality process of CH2MHILL’s procedures.Work in liaison with Employer’s QA/QC manager to close procedural NCRs issued to CH2MHILL by the Client.Conducting periodic awareness, lessons learnt and continual improvement training.Monitoring adherence to both CH2MHILL’s and contractor’s KPIs and follow up on implementation of corrective actions and improvements.Conducting weekly QAQC meeting and adhoc quality workshops with client’s and contractor’s Quality personal and issuing minutes.

Developing and implementing a quality management system and achieving ISO and IMS certification.Preparing project quality plan, quality system procedures, quality control plan, inspection and test plan in accordance with applicable quality system standards and contractual specification requirements.Maintaining client communication and understand client expectations.Guide and direct the QA/QC department personnel to maintain the standards expected by the company and to continually seek to improve system and procedure.Planning and managing job responsibilities of the QA/QC team to ensure the quality of the work is in conformance with the contract.Providing training to staff and subcontractors on project QC plans and procedures.Conducting appropriate QA Management Audits to assess content, compliance and effectiveness of quality programs. Preparing representative audit report, including need for corrective action.Providing oversight of QC tasks including inspection and testing to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications.Requesting corrective action in case of QC problems and follow up on corrective actions.Maintain quality records in accordance with procedures and specified requirements.Monitor quality of constructed works and facilitate continual improvement efforts.Preparing monthly QAQC reports and reporting to the management representative.Attending quality meetings with client and consultant and resolving quality related issues.Conducting periodic staff meetings to monitor status of quality assurance activities.
