At the time, Teradata worked with 17 of the top 20 global commercial and savings banks to provide flexible and agile analytics ecosystems focused on consumer behavior and regulatory oversight.In my role as Practice Director, I increased the annual revenue for our Machine Learning and Data Science consulting services, as well as more than doubling the number of enterprise clients that we served across the Fortune 500 financial service organizations. I advocated for machine learning specific solutions and for using ML on customer data in order to help create predictive models and help our clients optimize their credit, fraud, anti-money laundering, and financial crime activities.For one of our clients, I utilized Natural Language Processing to identify account frauds, improving their customer experiences and ultimately reducing the number of false negatives. My Practice enabled Teradata to remain on the cutting edge for service providers, allowing them to expand their market share of emerging technologies sector and increase consulting service line revenue.

Because of this known friction, I developed and demonstrated a value-add presentation based on our consulting services. Ultimately resulted in $1.5M in consulting and related software sales. Using that past case study, I created additional business development opportunities with a large auto insurance company, increasing revenue by $2M with additional product recurring revenue. A similar opportunity with a large bank delivered $50M in product sales related to customer acquisition and related consulting engagements.

I managed a team of 170 developers, the largest in the firm’s history, to implement data warehousing.
