Project involved design and development of drivers, handling changes in drivers per new product and fine tuning the driver parameters to provide optimal user experience.- Development and maintenance of capacitive touch sensor drivers on LinuxJava platform.

    Tech Lead (2005-2008): - Motorola iDEN Layer1: Was responsible to maintain iDEN Layer1 software. Project involved bug fixes and new feature development on Layer1 software. Layer1 software was responsible for interaction with the Layer1 timer on the platform chipset and scheduling various Rx and Tx operations as per iDEN Layer1 protocols- Motorola iDEN DSP: Was responsible to maintain iDEN DSP software for audio framework. Project involved bug fixes and new feature development on DSP software. DSP software involved: - Audio framework on Motorola Proprietary OS as well as Quadros RTXC. - Vocoders (VSELP based vocoders and AMBE) - Noise Suppressors for speaker phone signal processing - Signal processing software for TTY (TeleTypewriter) device interface - floating point to fixed point conversion of Speaker Phone signal processing algorithmSoftware Engineer (2003-2005):- Development of multimedia framework for audio/video capture on Motorola iDEN devices. Project involved interfacing to the ATI video drivers, DSP, Sandisk SD card driver, 3GPP parser and composer. Goal was to design and develop a framework that could interact with ATI and Motorola DSP 56xxx to receive the video and audio frames, invoke the 3GPP parser and composer to wrap the frames in .3gp format and then write the files to SD card. The design had to be robust to support capture as long as there was space available on SD card.
