Involved in the development of World's first Phycoremediation plant. Snap Natural Alginate at Ranipet, Tamil Nadu, India. My PhD thesis. The algae ( Chroococcus turgidus) developed on its own naturally and many attempts to phycoremediate industrial effluent by introducing lab grown algae did not yield desired results. Now I have developed an innovative technology by raising the algae from the effluent which can completely degrade the industrial effluent as it does in the world's first Phycoremediation plant. pilot studies are successful.
