I am a compassionate, solution-driven mental health clinical student trainee and a peer advocate. I am currently pursuing a M.S. in Mental Health Clinical Counseling- Marriage, Family, and Children to obtain a License in Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC) and License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT).I currently hold the Program Therapist and Clinical Student Intern roles at a partial hospitalization program treatment center where I provide skills training and crisis support utilizing and implementing multiple modalities (ACT, DBT, CPT, EFFT, CBT, RO-DBT, ERP, TF-CBT, Psychodynamic). I am also currently an unlicensed Clinical Student Trainee at a private group practice offering eclectic, individual-based, trauma-oriented, and holistic services.I formerly served as a Director of Community Engagement and Workforce at a non-profit mental health organization where I maintained leadership and peer supervision directing project management alongside a statewide staff. I also held roles as a Behavior Health Therapist and Peer Counselor where I gained vast knowledge and direct clinical experience collaborating with diverse community members, families, and children with various mental health conditions. Furthermore, I worked in crisis care continuum as a Crisis Peer Counselor, specifically with peer youth and family members needing immediate crisis counseling.As a humanitarian at heart and an everyday warrior for mental health equity, I will help diverse humans connect to their self and others; feel safe and accepted; and build empowerment in their journey to healing.
