• Worked in a team to develop a simulator for laser ablation of debris in space using agile methodologies (Jira/Git)• Gathered requirements and specifications from a client and wrote an in-depth technical document to document risk assessment, test coverage, system architecture, task sizing, user interface, and use cases• Utilized the Python Orekit wrapper to assist complex orbital mechanics calculations. • Developed key quality-of-life features to save and load simulations from files, view output data in configurable graphs, and view summaries of important physics metrics in the simulation• Wrote unit and integration test cases using mocks to test many features, including saving, loading, output logs, output graphics, and calculated statistics
