In 2013 I volunteered to help out with Björt framtíð's campaign leading up to the parliamentary elections due later that spring. I found myself as the sole fundraiser for the campaign and ended up securing more funds than the campaign was able to spend.In January 2014 I was approached by the co-founder of the party to be the campaign manager for the capital region leading up to the municipal elections in June 2014.
