I taught two courses to Master students at the University of Iceland named Field Course in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I) and (II). The courses covered the practical issues related to innovation and entrepreneurship. The emergence of a business idea and the initial evaluation of the business opportunity, and the development and testing of a business model. Students tackled projects where they applied the methods taught in the class in practical projects in both new and existing firms.

In early 2018, Kolibri ehf and TM hf (Icelandic insurance company) founded a new business venture to develop and sell an A.I driven claim automation software. The platform enables customers to not only report but process insurance claims through self-service, without human assistance. The need for incumbents to replace slow and outdated claims processes with true automation is urgent as new arrivals are entering the insurance space, offering insurance in new and disruptive ways. I lead the company.

In 2008, I founded Red Apple Apartments AB in Sweden as I saw an opportunity to solve a problem in the fragmented and unorganized corporate housing industry. Red Apple Apartments is a marketplace where companies operating fully furnished serviced apartments meet companies that need temporary corporate housing and the service is available in over 80 cities around Europe. The focus is on short-term rental contracts that typically range from just one month and up to couple of years.
