New Supplier Development - Developed an existing component in new supplier & save the subcontract costing up to 50lakhs per annum.Logistics load tonnage optimization – Collaborated with Design team and developed a new pallet to increase storage and reduce transportation for Nordex Rotor lock disc (machine components – weighs 2.1 ton). This new design helped to transport 5 no’s of part instead as compare with previous model of 3 no’s and saves 40% in transportation costKaizen for Supplier Rejection – For Enercon weldment component rejection rate is increasing due to Concentricity of Inner step bore. To overcome the rejection, we have Implemented an additional machining process (Facing & Dual Pass) which results in reduction of rejection from 80% to <5%. This Improvement is elected as 3rd prize winner in our intercompany for Kaizen event.By optimizing the components nesting in the layout, which helps to improve the yield percentage in the RM plate. It reflects the cost of RM consumption around 1Cr per annum.Intercompany Award – Awarded 2nd in the leap generation ideas for the year 2022.
