 19 years of cross-functional experience in Finance & Accounts activities, Deft in maintaining accounts ledger, trial balance & balance sheet, corporate policy implementation, Statutory and MIS across assignments and management of crisis. Assist in the management of General Accounting function for all internal customers. Provide daily supervision of team people with duties to include the following: assisting in planning, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints; resolving problems and giving proper training where required for any new process implementation or process improvement. Assist with the preparation of reconciliations (Balance sheet, Bank, Intercompany, debtors and creditors accounts) and review reconciliations prepared by others. Ensure that SOP’s and Internal controls over financial reporting are properly applied and documented. Assist with preparations for internal and external audits including coordination of data gathering from other teams and consolidating the reports. Assist in preparation and management of the monthly closing calendar for all internal customers. Maintain a system for monitoring, reporting and meeting all deadlines in the closing calendar to assure an accurate, smooth and efficient month end book close. Prepare and or manage the preparation of other financial reporting, calculations, cash flow and forecasting. Assist with special projects that are both financial and operational. Review work performed by team for month-end, quarterly and annual book closure.Achievements: Two successful transitions and implementation from overseas one was consolidation process from Singapore to Chennai in Flextronics during 2013 and Cash application process from U.S.A (Houston) to Chennai in KBR Engineering during 2015.
