¥ Conducting chemical tests on cures, raw materials, and finished products¥ Understanding the product, processing from raw to finished product with a thorough understanding of all the CCP’s and food safety as per plant HACCP plan and CFIA requirements¥ Monitor the plant for GMPs, SOPs, personal hygiene, product handling for temperatures (raw materials, in process, or finished), storage, rotation, weights, shapes and other product specifications, as per HACCP requirements and company specifications ¥ Ingredient sampling as part of the retention sampling program and release of ingredients for production use¥ Conducting environmental swabbing (routine and Listeria) on plant equipment• Utilizing problem solving skills to ensure all food safety, food quality expectations are met
