In my role as the Instructional Lead Teacher of Science 6-8 at Memphis-Shelby County Schools, I have spearheaded a dynamic team of science educators, guiding them in crafting and delivering top-tier instruction aligned with both state standards and district objectives. A significant aspect of my responsibilities involves mentoring and coaching new teachers, aiding in the development of their pedagogical skills, classroom management techniques, and assessment practices. Drawing on over six years of experience as a science teacher, I am deeply passionate about instilling a love for scientific inquiry and discovery among students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.Currently pursuing my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, my aspiration is to transition into the role of an assistant principal, contributing to the advancement of educational excellence and equity within my community. Armed with an M.Ed. in Instructional Practice and a Professional Teaching License issued by the State of Tennessee, I am also an Alumni Leadership Accelerator at Teach For America.
