Current• Conducting microbiological testing and monitoring of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, water samples, and environmental surfaces to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain product safety and quality.• Implementing sampling plans, testing protocols, and quality control procedures to detect and identify microbial contaminants, pathogens, and spoilage organisms.• Performing routine equipment calibration, verification, and maintenance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results, adhering to established calibration procedures.• Conducting swab analysis of drains in process areas to identify potential sources of contamination and implementing corrective actions to maintain hygienic conditions.• Analyzing and interpreting microbial analytical data, identifying trends.• Validation of microbiological testing methods, ensuring compliance with industry standards and guidelines.• Preparation and destruction of culture media, ensuring proper sterilization techniques and maintaining adequate inventory levels.• Staying updated on emerging trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements in the field of food microbiology.•Participating in the validation and verification of CIP processes, including the assessment of cleaning validation studies and sampling plans.
