responsibilities for planning, organizing, directingcontrolling and communicating with overall activities of finance unito Ensures the budget proposal EECMY-CS-DASSC prepared and approved on time using thefeedback from the community and in consultation with EECMY-CS-DASSC and project office levelmanagement staff for centrally administered project/programso Ensures the accounts are closed and financial statements are prepared annually at each year andsummits the draft accountso Review variances between budget and actual expenditures and prepare narrative reports.Ensures that financial reports are submitted to the donor agency and other stakeholders as pertheir requirementso Ensure that timely collection of funds from donors are followed up as deposited at bank account.o Organizes and coordinates finance and accounting related trainings and propose improvementsneeded to be made, review units finance capacity, existing gaps and required support with theaim of building internal capacity.o Ensures that budgetary control report form is prepared, looks into reason(s) for variances andchecks a narrative report.o Close and report all accounts to the projects accordingly for ready references.
