As a Business Development Manager at Harneys, my role encompassed advisory and managerial functions. As a Senior Marketing Manager at Oyster Global Marketing Group, my responsibilities included:• Managing client portfolios and providing strategic insight into marketing support.• Conceptualising, developing, implementing, and managing marketing and public relations strategies. • Managing advertising and promotional activities for client accounts.• Managing the production of brochures, advertising, and promotional materials.• Developing and implementing marketing, public relations, and sales programs.

As a manager within a new company set up in 2003, I was part of a three person management team reporting to the Regional Sales Director in the UK. The management team was responsible for the direction and strategy to establish Olympus (Netherlands) as a contender for lead position within the Dutch market. As the marketing manager I was responsible for formulating and overseeing the execution of the marketing strategies. Notable achievements included:• Formulating and overseeing the execution of marketing strategies, resulting in market share increasing from 9% to 14% in one year.• Increasing awareness and preference of the Olympus brand within the marketplace.

As a member of the Customer Relationship Management team I was responsible for coordinating communication with registered clients. In close collaboration with the product managers I ensured that customers were sent monthly email updates with new products and accessories, that these were compliant with the Sony look and feel and that the information sent would result in increased sales via Sony Style Store. I was also a key member of the team responsible for the collection and analysis of customer data from questionnaires and the final reporting of this to the marketing teams.
