I’m approaching the 6 years mark as the Integration Manager in the Atlanta office & I thought it time for an update and brief review of what I’ve accomplished.• Storeroom cleanup & re-organization of surplus inventory with a long-term solution to process, track, and maintain surplus equipment which keeps the storage room clean & organized• Initiated a quick access hardware system for the integration floor so techs can quickly get their hands on needed accessories for rack fabrication. • Instituted a consignment stock system with cable vendors to stock pre-made cables for use with rack integration. • Crafted a company RMA process with the warehouse returns agent.• Started a recycle program for cable remnants & excess equipment.• Instituted a training program for rack integration to address standards, quality of work, and efficiency for production.• Built a full-time team of 6 integration technician trained in the company and AVIXA industry standards for rack fabrication & quality control. • The training program developed became a company model for new hire training.Beyond those bullet points of accomplishment, I’ve had the singular honor to be part of an excellent management team that was responsible for the growth of the AVE department from a fledgling 20 + staff to a team of more than 80 Tech Ops members encompassing engineering, project management, integration, programming, field engineering, and installation.

I joined the BKM AV group at the start of 2010.Currently my developing role is operations oversight for production, warehouse, and purchasing activities.With added responsibilities in the project management, service offering, and training arenas.

I joined Telaid fresh out of the Navy after having spent seven years working in electronics, nuclear maintenance, training, and purchasing.Started work as a bench technician working on the Hoot n’ Holler products and manufacturing their proprietary line of product offerings.Moved through the ranks to Shop Lead and by late 2001 took over as the Production Manger. The company moved into the AV multimedia space at this time and I was part of the change in technology and mission.As the AV division grew I continued to oversee the production work and took on the added responsibility of warehouse oversight, which included shipping and receiving operations.With the addition of the Purchasing group to my purview I was named Director of Multimedia Operations, which I served as for 3 years through the end of 2009.
