As an undergraduate Civil engineering student at York University- Lassonde School of Engineering, I am eager to apply my knowledge to the real world problems. I am a second year student here at Lassonde and currently improving my knowledge regarding the field. I am also an intern under Lassonde Undergraduate Reaseach Award (LURA) under which I conduct experiments, analyze data and prepare weekly reports on the topic of Microplastic Detection in Waste Water. In addition to my academics, I actively take part in extracurricular activities. One of them is Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competetion where I demonstrated teamwork, and communicational skills through my work. I also took part in Civil Bridge Building competetion at Lassonde where I exhibited my creativity and problem solving skills by constructing a strong bridge.

  I worked at The Home Depot as a sales associate where I demonstrated exceptional customer service and communicational skills by guiding the customers. I handled cashier duties time to time and also performed keyholder duty at the beginning. I lifted products that weighed more than 20 pounds. I worked in a fast paces environment and was good at my job.
