Project management duties include project start-up/concept design, project and personnel scheduling, budgeting and fee proposals, establishing scope of work, and client relations. Building types ranging from one-story regular concrete tilt-up warehouse structures to irregular multi-story mixed material retail structures and seismic upgrades of existing structures. Experienced in concrete, steel, and masonry design. Additional duties include construction administration, site observations, design of support systems for architectural elements and due diligence reviews for clients. Manage and/or design an average of six projects at any given time in different stages of design development or construction.

President of retail business in antique Persian rugs, and architectural elements and furniture from India and Indonesia: Responsibilities typical of any small retail business owner ranging from business start-up, market analysis and budgeting to interior and graphic design, client relations, and organization of monthly exhibitions/parties. Design related duties include merchandise research and purchasing, furniture design, space planning, photography, and advertisement/graphic design.

Structural EIT: Primary duties included restoration design of timber and masonry single-family residences and commercial structures damaged by fire, water, and vehicle collisions under the provisions of the Oregon Structural Specialty and Residential Codes. Additional duties included AutoCAD drafting, production of construction documentation for building permits, and structural observations.

Design of water pipeline networks and creation of construction documents related to site development including erosion control, demolition, striping/phasing, grading and water/sewer pipeline plans. Additional responsibilities included hydrologic and hydraulic modeling as well as costs analysis of design elements.

Design of structural steel, concrete anchorage/embedment, and member connections under the provisions of nuclear safety-related codes ACI 349 and AISC/ANSI N690. Projects varied from the design of mechanical handling and pipe support structures to the analysis of crane railways, drop platforms, and façade structures. Other duties included the review of reinforced concrete slabs and steel framing design, review of shop and field drawings, project database creation and maintenance.
