Working as an Offshore Partner in my family-owned taxation consultancy business in Pakistan. Core business is to give professional tax advice to clients and file their periodic tax returns.

• Part of the executive team involved with creating and implementing the overall strategic plan for the business. • Collaborating with GMs and business leaders to drive effective profitable growth of 5%-15%, allocating resources to achieve company goals and objectives consistent with the strategic plan and vision• Responsible for full cycle accounting and finance function, providing timely, accurate, and complete reporting to all the stakeholders in compliance with ASPE• Lead the strategic business planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, accounts payable and month end processes and providing financial support on strategic issues (acquisitions/sale of assets involving due diligence, arranging financing, developing business case, CAPEX evaluation) • Collaborating with the auditors on matters of internal controls, risk management and governance. Involved in or lead the relationships with banks (operating accounts management and credit agreements/arrangement), insurance agents, equipment finance corporations, accountants, and tax department• Comply with state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings • Treasury management including forecasting liquidity needs, manage working capital, monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants• Provided operational leadership to the finance team of 8-10 staff members

• Key Member of the Executive team for Health services and involved in strategic decision making to ensure that the Hospital operations are conducted in an efficient and financially sustainable manner. • Developing short-term and long-term financial projections, feasibilities, scenario planning and forecasting to help grow operations in a complex and dynamic environment involving emerging competitors spread over 120 cities, multi-currencies, and an adverse economic climate.• Supervise the annual budgeting and planning activities and reporting of actuals against the budget and forecast. • Supervise the construction accounting for all internally constructed buildings/renovations of over US$100M• Overall responsibility of Financial Statements of the Hospital and its audit, Board submissions and Board meetings.Prior to the above role, I supervised the following departments of the AKU:• Treasury, Inventory, Fixed Assets, General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Risk and Compliance (3 years)• ERP System Implementation (3 years)• Business Development Department (1 year)• Funds Management Department (2 years)
